2019 KCGS Turns 40!
Story time! As a follow up to our June meeting, members entertained us with family stories they had written to preserve their family history.
Linda Hackbarth returned in September to share research ideas with our group.
Members enjoyed an outing to Sandpoint on September 19th. A tour of the Sweet Magnolia Bed & Breakfast followed lunch at Trinity at City Beach.
Linda Hackbarth presented a program based on her book,
Trail to Gold - The Pend Oreille Route.
Luella Stilley presented "Writing Your Story" and challenged members to write and share a story at our October meeting.
Gene Soper, author of COE, The First Sixty Years about the history of the Coeur d'Alene airport spoke to our group.
Louisa Durkin shared "One Man's Experience in the 10th Mountain Division," her husband Lewis St. John's personal story.

On March 10, 2015, members of The Mayflower Society in Boise made a book presentation to the Hayden Library. Many KCGS members attended the ceremony.
